What you can expect
To make your learning experience as seamless and empowering as we can, we go through the following steps:
You will not be required to make payment upon registration. Instead, you will receive an invoice via email with payment details.
Software check
You can use either a company or personal laptop to connect to our virtual machines for training. In case of connection issues, all laptops should run Windows with Excel and Power BI installed. To ensure you have the current versions, we ask that you upload a screenshot of your software details during registration.
We begin with your end in mind. That’s why we reach out to you prior to your training, so that we can tie in what we go through in our training sessions to your particular challenges.
We gather at Frasers Tower, our training venue. You will receive an A5 course booklet that covers the course content in detail, so you can focus on the training rather than taking notes. Our training is conducted via virtual machines in order to minimise technical issues. Your trainer will guide you in connecting to them. This is followed by a highly interactive training session with in-class exercises and collaborative learning.
We gather at Frasers Tower again for the second half of the training.
Learning is hardly ever a one-and-done deal. That's why we offer a complimentary 60-minute coaching session anytime within 30 days of your training to answer any questions you have in applying what you’ve learned to your work. We also run a one-week challenge with each session's participants, offering prizes for solving data problems that are posted on whatsapp each day over the course of a week post-training.

Registration
Payment
Payment is not required at registration. You will receive a quotation for signature, followed by an invoice via email with payment details.
Software check
Feel free to use your company or personal laptop with Windows, Excel, and Power BI for training exercises. We ask that you upload a screenshot of your software details during registration to ensure compatibility. -
Pre-training
Alignment
We begin with your end in mind. Before training, we'll connect over a video call to align our training with your goals and work challenges.
Technical check
We'll also do a technical check on your laptop to ensure a smooth connection to the virtual machine for in-class exercises. This call is a two-way conversation, so feel free to ask questions or raise any concerns. -
Training - 2 days
Venue and materials
We gather at Frasers Tower, our training venue. You will receive a hardcopy A5 course booklet that covers the course content in detail.
Approach
Expect interactive sessions with hands-on exercises reflecting real work scenarios. With a maximum class size of 9 participants, you are encouraged to ask questions and build on one another's learnings. Each day includes two 15-minute breaks and a 60-minute lunch break. -
Post-training
One-week challenge
Participate in our one-week challenge post-training, solving daily data problems on WhatsApp with your fellow trainees to win prizes.
Personalised coaching
We offer a complimentary 60-minute personalised coaching session within 30 days of your training to work through any challenges or questions you face in applying your new skills at work.

All we ask is that you bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. You’re not required to have any prior knowledge of Power BI.
We do expect that you are familiar and work regularly with Excel, and that your laptop meets the following requirements:
operating system Windows 10 (64bit and above)
WiFi connection
a compatible version of Excel (click here to find out how to determine the version of Excel on your laptop)
a compatible version of Power BI Desktop (later than December 2021)
