Our approach

Think of us as your personal coach, but for data.

Illustration of two hands holding a lightbulb, symbolizing a collaborative, co-creative approach to training and learning.

We can give you a book with all the tips and tricks (and we do!). But true learning is knowing how to put them to work. Your work.

What does that mean in practice?

This means our trainings have certain features that help us address your goals and challenges, features you don’t find with other training providers:

Pre-training introduction call
Small interactive classes
Actually helpful technology
Know-how, know-when, and know-why
Post-training coaching
We begin with your end in mind. For our training to be truly relevant, we have to be sure that it addresses the actual questions and challenges you currently face.

That’s why we reach out to you prior to your training, so that we can make note of your needs and specifically tie in what we go through in our training sessions to them.
The best way to learn is by doing. This means our classes are limited to 9 participants.

Just like watching Masterchef doesn't make you a good cook, our classes are small and highly interactive because the best way to understand the material is to engage with it.
Don't worry about laptop and software set up. We use virtual machines so that all learners are on the same page. This helps our trainer have access to everyone's screens so that we can pull up examples and learn from each other quickly and effectively.

As long as your laptop has WiFi and current versions of Excel and Power BI, you're good to go.
We not only teach Power BI, we also sharpen your critical thinking and problem solving skills, so you know when and how to use your new tools to tackle any data problems you face.
Learning is hardly ever a one-and-done deal. That's why we host an optional bonus one-week challenge, where you and your fellow trainees can solve data problems posted daily on WhatsApp to win prizes. We also offer a complimentary 60-minute personalised coaching session post-training to support you to apply you've learned to the day-to-day work that you do.
